Everyone has to start somewhere in the wormhole life. In the wormhole life there is many things to do such as mining, relic/data site exploration, rattting, and looking for content. For most new wormhole players mining and relic/data sites are the starting go to activities for they bring in the isk without much risk. Ratting is a good way to make isk as well but the risk of being jumped on while out ratting is pretty high depending on the time of day or time of the week.

In any exciting activity in the wormhole having a way back to safety is the first priority which the use of bookmarks is mandatory. The 3rd party website Tripwire will allow you to map your way thru the wormhole life and back to High-Sec, Low-Sec, or even Null space out of the wormholes.
